iTAC (INTELLIGENCE TORQUE ADAPTION CONTROL) SYSTEM

A pioneer in safety features, the BYD SEAL incorporates the latest iTAC technology, which intelligently distributes drive torque by utilising techniques such as torque shift, appropriate torque reduction, and negative torque output to effectively reduce or eliminate skidding. This technically advanced system boosts safety and enhances the overall handling of the vehicle, guaranteeing a smooth and secure driving experience.

The BYD SEAL leverages the pioneering and revolutionary Blade Battery, a transformative force in the EV industry for more than 28 years. The Blade Battery, crafted without relying on scarce natural resources such as nickel and cobalt, has undergone a comprehensive and extensive range of tests in extreme conditions, ensuring that it is one of the safest batteries on the market.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

HIGH-EFFICIENCY HEAT PUMP SYSTEM

The BYD SEAL comes with a state-of-the-art energy-saving heat pump system as standard. This system efficiently harnesses residual heat from the powertrain, passenger compartment and batteries to enhance thermal efficiency and minimise energy loss. Consequently, this innovative technology results in an increased driving range in low temperature conditions.
