Loaded with convenience, the vehicle boasts an impressive range of standard features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Intelligent Cruise Control, and surround-view cameras.

The BYD DOLPHIN features a chic exterior adorned with sharp creases and graceful curves, resulting in an elegant design. This agile hatchback not only radiates efficiency but also provides accessibility. Instantly identifiable from its silhouette, its unique rounded shape is enhanced by sharp detailing on the doors.

With a spacious wheelbase of 2.70 m, there is ample room for both the driver and passengers. Furthermore, the standard 16-inch alloys can be upgraded to 17-inch wheels, offering an option for a more sporty appearance.

SAFETY

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS

The BYD DOLPHIN establishes the safety benchmark among electric cars, as it comes as standard with an extensive array of advanced driver assistance features. Positioned as one of the safest options in the market, all versions of the BYD DOLPHIN include a comprehensive suite of safety technologies such as a 360-degree camera, Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA), and Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC).

Augmenting its safety profile, the BYD DOLPHIN also integrates Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Rear Cross Traffic Brake (RTCB) as standard features. Using millimeter-wave radar, these features actively detect other road users approaching from behind during reverse maneuvers. In the event of an imminent collision, the car issues a warning and automatically engages the brakes, further solidifying its commitment to safety.

Built on the advanced BYD e-Platform 3.0, exclusively designed for pure electric vehicles, the BYD DOLPHIN offers various advantages in terms of intelligence, efficiency, safety, and aesthetics. Utilising the e-Platform 3.0, the BYD DOLPHIN attains a broader visual appeal, distinguished by short front and rear overhangs and an extended wheelbase. This design not only improves the overall aesthetic but also contributes to a more expansive rear passenger compartment, featuring a flat floor that guarantees ample comfort and space for passengers in the middle seat.

BYD BLADE BATTERY

The revolutionary Blade Battery, a hallmark of the BYD DOLPHIN, has been transforming safety, durability, and performance in the electric vehicle (EV) industry for more than 28 years. Crafted from lithium iron phosphate (LFP), a secure and sustainable material that avoids the use of natural materials like nickel and cobalt, the battery offers unparalleled benefits. The BYD DOLPHIN is equipped with a 60 kWh LFP Blade Battery, delivering an impressive range of up to 427 km on a single charge.

The BYD DOLPHIN benefits from 11 kW AC charging, which will enable a full recharge in approximately 8 hours from empty. Additionally, the vehicle also supports 100 kW DC fast charging, which will allow the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 29 minutes.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

HIGH-EFFICIENCY HEAT PUMP SYSTEM

The advanced heat pump system comes as standard with the BYD DOLPHIN, enhancing the car's energy efficiency and overall range. This innovative system harnesses the residual heat from the powertrain, passenger compartment, and batteries and is utilised for both heating and cooling purposes.

The heat pump system is designed for optimal efficiency across a broad spectrum of temperatures, ensuring the BYD DOLPHIN remains comfortable in all weather conditions.
